It's a short story, so we don't have a lot of time to get to know Abbey and David, but I found myself rooting for their relationship. The sex was great! A wonderful story with such character depth I could continue to read about there lives forever. I felt like a viewer looking into the lives of very complex wonderful people who have been handed a lot to deal with in life Jessy and Joan's characters were amazing. I can't say enough about this book, and I will be telling all of my friends to read it. Do yourself a favor and buy this book!

Phenomenal book from cover to cover

My only negative critique of the book is that it ended. Even though the book was approximately 320 pages, I could have easily read another 320 more. I loved getting wrapped up in the complex characters of this novel.

And surprisingly, I actually liked and found it mildly refreshing that the sex scenes weren't drawn out and overly explicit. There was just enough for the reader to know they were making love, but not so much that the book read like porn.

The best book on Linux forensics I've seen. The content is easily worth the $50 price tag, however, the physical book is not. This is printed on low quality paper with some pages (and quite a few of the figures) very washed out. I understand this is the first book from Pentester Academy, but they really need to find a new print shop to handle their work.

About the Author
Dr Janet Barker has been involved in nursing for forty years, starting as a cadet nurse at 16 years of age in an Orthopaedic Hospital, moving into general nursing and finally working as a mental health nurse, in both inpatient and community settings. The last twenty years have been spent in nurse education. Janet has vast experience of organising and delivering undergraduate pre-registration nursing courses, taking on the role of Course Director of the Diploma/BSc(Hons) in Nursing programme at the University of Nottingham, School of Nursing, Midwifery and Physiotherapy in 2005. Janet received the University of Nottingham 'Dearing Award' in 2011 in recognition of her 'outstanding contribution to the development of teaching and student learning'. She retired as Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham in July 2011, however continues to keep abreast of current developments in nursing.

Paul Linsley has worked largely in Acute and Forensic Mental Health settings both as a clinician and as a manager. He sits on various national health and social care bodies and is an active researcher in his field of interest. Paul has presented at International Conferences and holds a number of awards. As a Principal Lecturer at the University of Lincoln he teaches on a number of courses, single and joint honours undergraduate programmes, research masters programmes and pre and post registration nurse training programmes. He has written on a number of mental health issues, including emotional intelligence, health informatics and the management of health care violence and aggression. He as an interest in values-based practice and this is reflected in this book and engaging the service user as part of nurse education.

Excellent undergradate transport text

I was introduced to this text as a supplemental source of information for a Transport Phenomena course with the Bird, et al text as the primary textbook. Although the Bird text is still the forerunner in this subject in my opinion, it can be a difficult text in the undergraduate setting. I found the Brodkey and Hershey text to be packed with valuable explanations and graphs that complement the Bird text. I do believe this text would be very good in the role as a primary undergraduate transport text, but I expect to see the use of the Bird text continue because of its quality and longevity in the field. Personally, I still refer to the Brodkey and Hershey text first, before I delve back into the harder to read Bird text.

Not Impressed

I purchased this book because I was hopeing for a supplemental text to Transport Phenomena by Bird and Lightfoot. Perhaps it was because my teacher structured the class different than how this author felt the class should have been structured the information in this book didn't really apply to my transport 1 class. I will give it another chance while I am in transport 2 but I doubt that this will be the wealth of information that I was hopeing it to be. It I suppose is worth a try if you have a teacher who is lacking and you don't immediatily understand the Transport phenomena main text.

Friendly for undergrads

There are not many transport phenomena textbooks, and few of them are "undergrad friendly". This is one of them. The textbook was designed to provide an integrated treatment of the three areas of transport: momentum, heat, and mass. Brodkey and Hershey succeed in explaining a very complex topic using a simple language and generalized flux, and property variables that easily unify the transport equations. The idea behind is that same equations have same solutions. Not complex examples found in the textbook. Easy to read and to follow.
